Memtest86 is a diagnostic tool that runs on a diskette or CD on start-up. Memtest86 does a series of tests to try and find memory errors. These tests consist of a combination of test algorithms, data standards and cache memory configurations.



The order of execution of these tests is specifically designed to detect errors as quickly as possible. Memtest 86 supports any type of memory, and versions of any operating system can be downloaded from the author`s webpage. After running the install.bat file, the program will offer you the chance to create a diskette containing all the files necessary to run Memtest86 with the nest start-up.
